Summer’s coming (or is it here?), and in true summer-fashion, I’m not feeling particularly motivated to write about anything. Winter, I’ve found, is for writing. Summer is for reading. So, how about a summer reading list? These are some of my current favorites. If you’ve got the interest and the time in the warm months ahead, check them out.

.) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

.) Matilda by Roald Dahl

.) The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne

.) The Giver Series by Lois Lowry

.) The Orchardist by Amanda Coplin

.) Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger

.) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

.) Chanda’s Secrets by Allan Stratton

.) Beloved by Toni Morrison

.) The Shack by William P. Young
